We have just finished our April course and much fun was had by all.  Of course the weather in April can be unpredictable and we did have to consider lashing the artists to the easels on a couple of days.  Refuge was found in the studio and the trusty vespa came up trumps again.  With a personality all her own and all the curves you expect from great Italian design, everyone went home with a true picture of Italy.

One particularly blustery day we took the opportunity to visit the Designer factory outlets for which Le Marche  is famous.  I was much struck by the beautiful mens shoes.   Whilst extraordinary works of art, they are generally of an extravagance that would make Huggy Bear blush.  No man I know would wear them, well not many.   But someone ought to, and since I have large feet and really don’t get on with stillettos or 5″ heels, it might as well be me.

 

Residents of Camerino can expect to see me trotting around in pea green brogues, come the autumn.  I am slightly worried that my clowning past may be catching up with me.
