Do you provide hairdryers

Can I stay extra days
Yes, however we cannot pick up or deliver outside the course dates – but we can get you to the local train or bus station.
Do you accept payment in other currencies?
We accept payment in Stirling, or euros (happy to provide conversion rate), we are happy to give advice on international transfer.
What do you do on rainy days?
Although our weather is usually superb, occasionally it doesn’t play ball.  I have a book of photos called the ‘Gorgiano Big Book of inspiration’ featuring assorted landscapes from around here. – I am not big on copying photos slavishly (grids are very similar to prisons) but I have no problem with using them as inspiration – for looking at ways to express atmosphere and finding patterns and rhythms and then improving on them. Rainy days can often be the most creative.
Boarding passes?
We are happy to print boarding passes, please send us a PDF of the pass once you have checked in. You can do so on our wifi

Do you provide towels and bedlinen?
Yes, all linen and hand and bath towels
How far are you from the sea?
We are about 3/4 hour’s drive from the sea at Civitanova, another 1/4 hour and you can reach the famous Sirolo Coast at Ancona. We don’t usually go to the seaside, but we do try to get to the lake for a day which is very beautiful and refreshing
How do you draw trees?
Grrr. Of course it depends on the tree. I have been asked this so much that I have developed exercises for it. Artists are asked to draw 8 differant kinds of trees (I have counted 20 from our balcony), focusing on the differences between them in height, denseness, silouette, leaf shape – then we look at the leaf, branch, tree, wood, hill progression – then add lesson on how to mix greens and you’re away.
